Hello!
I am originally from Texas, but recently moved to Northern California with my husband Alec and critters. I attended the University of North Texas where I received a BFA focusing in Sculpture. My fur family includes a Belgian Shepherd mix named Kaya, a military macaw named Jokah, a cockatiel named Khau and a finch named Pache.
I met my handsome husband Alec while in college. After graduating, we decided to skip the normal life and go on an adventure. We sold all our possessions and traveled the United States in our tiny truck. Accompanied by our adventurous pup Kaya, we visited 21 states over 5 months and saw many of the country’s natural wonders. Once completing this trip, our feet itched for more as we boarded a flight for the gorgeous Switzerland. We spent the next month pin balling from one artistic wonder to the next in the surrounding countries. It was the trip of a lifetime for sure! You can view a homemade video of the story Here.
While on our U.S. trip, we fell in love with the beautiful California countryside and sought to make it our home when we returned. That goal in mind, we loaded up our few possessions and animals into a small trailer and drove off into the sunset. We found a homestead and settled in the wonderful county of Mendocino, California. Here I have been able to rediscover my love of making and sharing art. I have been able to use my experience and passion to inspire others inner creativity as well as my own. We adore our new friends and neighbors here in beautiful Northern California and cannot wait to see what the future has in store!
