A few practical questions
How much does a custom sculpture cost?
Every commission is quoted individually. Price depends on size, complexity, materials, and the time required to create the piece.
Can you make a sculpture from a photograph?
Yes. Clear photographs can be used as references for many animal, figurative, and keepsake sculptures. Lauren will review the images and discuss what is possible before providing a quote.
What materials can custom sculptures be made from?
Lauren works in clay and other materials appropriate to the subject and intended setting. Material options are discussed before the project begins.
How long does a sculpture commission take?
Timing varies with the size, complexity, materials, and Lauren’s current schedule. Share your preferred completion date with your inquiry so feasibility can be discussed early.
Can custom sculptures be shipped?
Many sculptures can be carefully shipped within the United States when their size and material allow. Shipping is quoted separately. Costs to Alaska and Hawaii may be substantially higher.
Can I request a specific size?
Yes. Include your preferred dimensions and where the sculpture will be displayed. Lauren will recommend an appropriate scale and approach.
